Washington Crossing Brewfest

Join us for Spring Brewfest 2023 on May 6!

This year’s Washington Crossing Spring Brewfest is on Saturday, May 6 from 12:30 to 4:30PM. This is the only brewfest we will hold this year, as we have decided to no longer host our Fall Brewfest.

Tickets go on sale March 1 at a discounted, 48-hours-only price of $45. After that, tickets are $50, plus a limited number of $15 Designated Driver tickets.

At the Brewfest, you’ll enjoy sampling over 100 different beers from more than 60 breweries, live music (bagpipe rock!), and food vendors. Held by the Friends of Washington Crossing Park, all proceeds from the Brewfest support educational and historical programming in the park.

If you have questions, please email info@washingtoncrossingpark.org.

About

At the Washington Crossing Spring Brewfest, you’ll get to taste more than 100 different beers from dozens of local, regional, and nationally-known breweries.

Time and time again, our attendees say the unique location is their favorite part of the day. This isn’t your typical parking lot brewfest—instead, you’ll enjoy a beautiful, wooded setting overlooking the Delaware River.

The Washington Crossing Spring Brewfest is hosted by and benefits the non-profit Friends of Washington Crossing Park. Every dollar collected helps the Friends educate the public, promote the historic events that took place in Bucks County in 1776, and preserve the park’s colonial-era buildings and artifacts

Previous Attendees Say…

So many breweries, with multiple offerings. The setting is beautiful, several food choices and more than enough facilities. Live music was excellent and fitting for the event. Plenty of parking and lots of nice, fun people attending. Worth the wait to get in! We have attended this event several years in a row and have always had a great time. Highly recommended! Stephen D.

The site was an enjoyable venue. The number of beverages to sample was immense and the food vendors were numerable. The price of everything was definitely doable. Jeanette B.

Such a fun day! Everyone is always in a good mood (of course - endless beer!) and it is a fun activity to do with friends while also learning about new beers and breweries. A highlight of spring! Barbara B.

Frequently asked questions

Q: What makes Washington Crossing Spring Brewfest different from other beer events?

A: Most brewfests offer expensive VIP tickets that allow you to sample unique or special beers. In contrast, our brewfests tap these beers throughout the day for everyone, at no extra charge. Here are some other reasons our brewfest is unique:

• More than 100 beers from dozens of breweries

• Beautiful wooded setting overlooking the Delaware River

• Mouthwatering food vendors

• All proceeds benefit the Friends of Washington Crossing Park

• Special commemorative glasses

Q: Where is the Washington Crossing Brewfest held?

A: The Brewfest is held in Washington Crossing, located in scenic Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Washington Crossing Historic Park (PA) preserves the site where General George Washington and his troops crossed the Delaware River on Christmas night 1776 and marched to Trenton, NJ. The address is 1638 River Rd, New Hope, PA 18938.

The Brewfest is located right next to the Delaware River in a shaded, wooded landscape. It is in the upper part of the park, behind the historic Thompson Neely House and Farmstead. This is across River Road from Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve, which is located 2.5 miles from the center of New Hope, Pennsylvania, and 4.5 miles from the four-way stop sign in Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania.

Click here for a map and the GPS address

Q: Do I need to bring a photo ID to Brewfest? Do I need to bring my ticket?

A: Pennsylvania state law stipulates that everyone who enters the brewfests must present a valid ID. We will check all IDs at the gate, even if you appear to be over the age of 21.

Please bring your tickets with you! Electronic or hard copy is fine.

Q: I just found out I can't attend, but I've already purchased a ticket. How do I get a refund?

A: Tickets are nonrefundable. This means that refunds will not be granted for any reason. However, you may pass your ticket on to a third party as long as that person is 21 or older and can provide a valid photo ID. The name on the ticket does not have to match the name on the guest's photo ID.

Q: I can't find the email that contains my ticket. Can you resend them?

A: You can retrieve your missing tickets here by entering the email you used to purchase them. If you’ve done this and you still don’t have your tickets, you may have entered your email address incorrectly. Please contact us at info@washingtoncrossingpark.org to resolve this

Q: Can I buy beer at the event?

A: This is a sampling event only – no beer will be sold. Attendees will receive 2-ounce pours of many different kinds of beers.

Q: How can I get involved as a food vendor or brewery?

A: Breweries and food vendors interested in participating should check the Vendor Information page to get started.

Q: Can I re-enter the Brewfest area once I’ve left?

A: No. Once you have left the grounds, re-entry is not allowed. Bathrooms, water, food and ATMs are available on-site.

Q: Where can I park? Can I leave my car overnight?

A: Parking will be clearly marked near the Brewfest site. Please designate a driver (a limited number of DD tickets are available for each event). Or, take advantage of a rideshare after the event. Cars cannot be left overnight after the event.

Q: Is the event wheelchair accessible?

A: There is an accessible parking area close to the event entrance and accessible portable bathrooms on site. The area where Brewfest is held is dirt, but overall flat and maintained.

Q: Is smoking permitted?

A: Vaping and cigarettes are permitted, but cigars and drug use are prohibited. Please be respectful of other attendees when smoking.
